Welcome to the 4th Congress on Innovation in Drug Delivery (IDD2016)

ani1256.jpgThe fourth edition of the Conference on Innovation in Drug Delivery will be organized jointly by ADRITELF and APGI in Antibes-Juan-les-Pins (France) from 25 to 28 September, 2016. The symposium topic will be “Site-Specific Drug Delivery”. It will consist in plenary and invited lectures as well as short oral presentations. The conference will also host an industrial exhibition as well as technical presentations, offered to the sponsors who would like to introduce their technology/methodology by an oral presentation. A possibility of poster presentation will be given to all participants. The last edition in Pisa gathered around 55 nationalities and up to 350 participants.

logo_apgi_petit_1.jpgThe APGI (Association de Pharmacie Galénique Industrielle/international Society of Drug Delivery Sciences and Thechnology) was created in 1964 in Paris, and is an association accessible to all, academics and individuals in industry, who are concerned with pharmaceutical technology and the design, formulation and pharmacotechnical, biopharmaceutical and pharmacokinetic assessment of dosage forms and delivery systems, whether pharmaceutical or dermopharmaceutical. The APGI has members covering more than thirty different nationalities and counts contacts and friends in over fifty countries. The APGI is a member of the FIP (Fédération Internationale Pharmaceutique).
The APGI is publishing the newsletter La Gazette and the scientific publication the Journal of Drug Delivery Sciences and Technology, which is the official journal of the APGI, the A.D.R.I.T.E.L.F.(Italy) and the APSTJ (Japan).

Founded in 1972, A.D.R.I.T.E.L.F.( Associazione Docenti Ricercatori Italiani di Tecnologia e Legislazione Farmaceutiche) is a non-profit making scientific society with about 200 active members from all over Italy. This Italian Association of Professors and Academic researchers
of Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biopharmaceutics and Regulatory Affairs is devoted to the promotion of interactions and collaborations, throughout the world, among researchers from academy and industry within these scientific fields. The society is also actively involved in the education and training of young researchers in the field of pharmaceutics. Together with APGI (France) and APSTJ (Japan), the association is publishing the "Journal of Drug Delivery Sciences and Technologies". Important activities are also the biannual national scientific congress and the cooperation with other scientific societies for the organization of international meetings..

antibes_4.jpgIn the afternoon on Sunday 25 September you may pick up your badge and conference bag at the Conference Centre. Then at 5 p.m. we invite you to the join the guided walking tour in the historical city of Antibes. Antibes is famous for its fortress and remparts from the 16thcentury, the Picasso Museum and the most important yacht harbour in Europe. After the tour you will have the possibility to meet your colleagues during the informal welcome reception organized in the heart of Antibes. On Tuesday 27 September we look forward to welcoming you at our “Provencal Dinner” where we hope you will enjoy the combination of flavours and perfumes of the region but also the jazzy ambiance.
